The vertical nest in Milan

Some preview images of the new skyscraper in the Milan CBD
Some days ago the website UrbanFile posted the these first renders of the new building is growing in the Milan quarter of Porta Nuova, the Vertical Nest, just some footstep from another important masterpiece of the Milan skyline, the UniCredit tower.

The new building, owned by the insurance group Unipol-Sal, will grow up to 15 floors along 96 meters, in a texture of wood, metal and glass. The oval layout at the ground level will be developed with a complex reticular structure, like in a nest developed along a vertical path.

The internal hall will be linked directly to the square in front of the building and with via Melchiorre Gioia, while floors will be rich of elliptical terraces faced directly on the entrance, developing a court that will follow the whole vertical development of the buiding

At the top, there will be a panoramic terrace and inside the building will be other public spaces like cafeteria and auditorium.

A new modern pearl for the Milan CBD.
