"Vassi in Sanleo e discendesi in Noli, montasi su in Bismantova e ’n Cacume con esso i piè; ma qui convien ch’om voli; "with this words, Dante Alighieri describes the suffering during his trip to reach the top of the Paradise, walking hard with Virgilio in the Purgatory. Nowadays, Noli is no more isolated and with no so steep paths: it is a little jewel on the Western Ligurian Coast, about 60 Km from Genoa and just 90 minutes from the French border. Noli has a glorious past of Sea Republic, like Genoa, Amalfi, Pisa and Venice, a strong tradition of professional seamen that survives up today.

In this wonderful context, among the middle age town, along the walls that runs from the top of the hill to the see, we can discover the ancient Dante's path through a "walk event". The first editions were meetings for runners, but today the event attracts many visitors also just to take a walk, reading in the meantime the verses of the Divine Poet, or just to admire the view, which opens to the sea.

Noli was also the set for many important tv ads, like the Alfa Romeo Mito promo, shot in 2010 on the Malpasso's cliff in Noli.
